Station #1, built in 1947
acts as headquarters for the Monroe Fire Department. The
station consists of 6 bays, administrative offices, a day room, a
dispatch room, and hall on the second floor. Station #1 houses
Engines 201 and 204, Rescue 220, and Squad 230.
Station
#2 was built as a substation for the Monroe Fire Department.
It is located in the North Central area of town on Jockey Hollow
Road. Station #2 houses Quint 200, Tanker 216, and Engine 202.
Station #2 also has a day room, classroom, kitchen, and dispatch
area.
